"Aligning Your Values And Your Actions" with Leatha Udayabhanu

Some big questions we grapple with as we leave church is, "What are my actual values? And how do I align my actions to match those values?"In addition, many of us carry the heaviness of realizing we participated in and continue to participate in systems of oppression. How do we continue to show up inside these systems while maintaining our values? How do we work to disrupt and dismantle these systems both in ourselves and the world in a way that is sustainable and effective?

Leatha from @essentiallyawake has generously offered to be our guide as we explore these questions together. She believes in, teaches, and embodies radical self-acceptance, decolonizing everything, the human capacity to heal, well-timed expletives, laughter as medicine, how our intersectional identities affect the way we show up in the world, and that healing is an individual responsibility that happens most effectively in community.
