Summer Camp FAQ

Tickets for our 2026 Lost and Found Club Summer Camp will go on sale Thursday, March 26th, at 11 AM MT for club members and to the public on Saturday, March 28th, at 11 AM MT! We put together some of our most frequently asked questions for you below. If you have a question not answered here, feel free to email us at general@lostandfound.club

Dates and Times:

What are the dates for this year's camp?

This year, we're hosting one Summer Camp event: an overnight camp happening August 28th - 30th.

What time does camp begin and end?

Check-in is Friday, August 28th, from 1:00—5:00 pm, and checkout is Sunday, August 30th, at 12:30 pm. If you need to arrive later or leave earlier, it's no problem.

Where is camp being held this year?

While we are not publicly announcing the exact location of camp, it will be held in Kamas, UT. While we understand this is a further drive for most folks, our new location better holds our growing demand and fits the needs of our community better. The cabins are more updated, and each comes with its own bathroom. There is also a full shower house for folks to feel more comfortable. We will also be the only group at the site for the full weekend! Once you purchase your tickets, you will be sent a confirmation with the address and location. We can't wait for you to see it and fall in love with it as much as we have!

Food:

Will there be food provided?

All food will be provided and catered! This year, we have hired Liz from Oh Capri Catering to be our dedicated camp chef for the whole weekend. This includes dinner on Friday, breakfast, lunch, and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday for the overnight camp. Autobahn coffee truck will also be joining us again and whipping up coffee and tea all weekend! We will have snacks as well, and feel free to bring your favorite snacks to share.

What if I have a food allergy? Is it safe for me to eat the food provided?

We will send a survey after registration to collect needs such as allergies and dietary restrictions. We will let our chef know about all food allergies and dietary restrictions, and they will be prepared to make accommodations.

Can I bring my own food and beverages?

You are welcome to bring your own food/non-alcoholic beverages, but you will not have access to a refrigerator, so we recommend bringing your own cooler. If you have severe food allergies and need to bring your own food that requires refrigeration, please reach out to us once you have purchased your ticket.

General Camp Questions:

Will I be lonely if I come alone? What if I don't know anybody going?

You will be well taken care of and in good company! Lost & Found's Girls Camp is created for making friends. You'll be in a group with a camp counselor and fun group activities, so you will have great opportunities to connect with amazing people. Before camp, you'll be notified who your camp counselor will be, so you can get to know your counselor and group beforehand. We’d love to meet you!

I don't have a ride to camp—is there a carpool?

You'll be able to connect with other campers on our Discord #camp-chat and arrange a carpool there. We will also share a carpool sign-up link via email a few weeks before camp.

Can I come to camp if I don't live in Utah?

Yes! Please still join if you can! We’ve had people travel from all over outside of Utah for Girls Camp, and they’ve made life-long friendships! A great way to keep in touch and find others near you is through our Discord.

What kind of activities will we do at camp?

Some activities will include workshops, a talent show, crafts, hikes, campfires, drag performances, and bonding. All activities at camp are optional.

Will there be restroom facilities?

This year, at our new facility, each cabin is equipped with its own bathroom. For our tent, yurt, and car camping friends, you can use the bathrooms at the lodge and in the shower house.

Will there be a lake at the new location?

There is a public lake a short drive away from our camp location in Kamas, UT. It is important to note that because it is a public lake, there may be other people recreating. The lake is also a high mountain lake, so it is known to be too cold for swimming, but we anticipate folks paddleboarding or kayaking!

Overnight Camp Info:

How are campsites and bunks organized?

Tent campsites and car camping will be first come first serve and are placed throughout the camp. Bunks will be pre-assigned, and we will do our best to pair you with those you request. You will be grouped with others who purchase the same tickets as you, and you'll have a camp counselor camping with you. We lock the gates at night for safety.

I plan to attend with a group of friends. How can we make sure our sleeping arrangements are together?

If you've chosen a bunk ticket, your space will be pre-assigned and we'll do our best to pair you with who you've requested in our registration form (link will be in your ticket confirmation email). However, due to space limitations, we cannot guarantee you'll be placed together. Choosing a tent ticket will be the easiest option to guarantee being grouped with friends as you can share your tent with any other campers who have also purchased a tent ticket.

What if I don't have a tent?

We will have a few extra tents and will also pair folks who do have tents with people who need a tent buddy.

Rules:

Is there an age/gender restriction?

Yes, this event is for age 18 and up and for women and gender-expansive folks.

Is there a place to pump at camp?

Yes! There will be a room for nursing moms to pump. Please let us know if you need to pump so we can make the correct accommodations.

Will there be alcohol at Girls Camp?

The venue is an alcohol-free space. We will not be providing alcohol and ask that you do not bring any as we would like to be allowed back!

Registration:

Can I get a refund after I register? Or transfer to another person? Can I sell my registration?

We will allow refunds up to 30 days before camp. After that point, we will not be refunding as we must secure our food and lodging numbers, and you will be responsible for selling your own ticket. If you need to sell your ticket, the best way to do that is on our Camp channel on Discord

Can I purchase more than one ticket?

We are only allowing two tickets to be purchased by one person. If you purchase a ticket for a friend, you will need to provide their first and last name, as well as their email address, so they can receive all camp information. If you are planning on attending with a group larger than 2, each person will need to purchase their own tickets.

How are you accommodating special requests?

Following the purchase of your ticket, we will send a form to all registrants asking for any accommodations needed to experience camp fully!

How do I know I'm registered and confirmed for camp?

Following your purchase, you will be sent an email confirmation. Check all your email folders, as we don't always land in your inbox.

How can I donate to this event?

We always welcome donations to make our events amazing and accessible. If you would like to donate money for Summer Camp, please visit our Donations Page. Thank you so much and we look forward to working together!

Are there any additional fees on top of the ticket cost?

Yes, a 3% credit card processing fee is added to the ticket cost at checkout.

What happens if tickets sell out? Will there be a waitlist?

When tickets sell out, there will be an RSVP link added to the camp ticket page. This will act as our time stamped waitlist. As we have tickets open up, we will inform folks on the waitlist based on their time stamp.

We'll see you at camp!!
